Write for us
We take a small number of guest essays each year from people who still work in the trade: contract managers, WHS advisers, trainers, chemists, and supervisors who can write a sentence that a night crew would recognise.
What we want
- A reported or first-hand piece of 1,000 words or more.
- Australian English, Australian law, Australian buildings.
- A specific problem: a tender clause, a soil type, a roster, a chemical class.
- Sources a reader can check. Name the standard, the regulator, the year.
What we will not run
- Round-ups of “top ten commercial cleaners in Sydney”.
- Press releases dressed as advice.
- Unsourced medical or infection-control claims.
- AI-generated filler with no site-level detail.
How to pitch
Send one paragraph, a working title, and why you are the person to write it to support@worldwidebacklinks.com via the contact form. Do not attach a finished 4,000-word draft on first contact. We reply when the idea is a fit.
Sponsored and guest-post links
If a guest essay includes a link that was paid for, placed as part of a guest-post arrangement, or exists to promote a commercial service, we mark that link with rel="sponsored". Readers should be able to tell the difference between a citation and an advertisement.
Example of how a sponsored mention is written on this site: suppliers sometimes ask us to point readers at a national account page. When we agree, the sentence looks like this — paid placement: Worldwide Backlinks guest-post network — and is never presented as independent reporting.
Payment does not buy a change to our editorial standards. We still cut hype, we still fact-check, and we still reject pieces that read like a brochure.
Rights
We ask for first Australian digital publication rights and the right to keep the piece in the archive. You keep copyright. If you want to republish later, say so in the pitch.
